4/5 ANCHOR PREPARATION

1. Write Anchor Introduction to show. Conversation between anchors is good. Preview Stories. SEE VIDEO EXAMPLES here: THE FLASH ARCHIVES

SEE WORD DOCUMENT EXAMPLE HERE: 3.4.10 Anchor Script

2. Re-write Anchor IN and OUT's to stories to fit your style. Use your IN and OUT to your story. Pick 2 other stories from class and talk to the reporter to write appropriate INs and OUTs. You are not allowed to say: "The Scoop", "Went to...", "Let's See", "I..." "We..." , NO Rhetorical Questions!!!

ANCHOR that says the IN also says the OUT for same story.

3. Write Anchor Close to show. Again conversation helps.

4. EMAIL finished Script in Word to nicholas.fornicoia@district196.org

5. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE reading/performing script ALOUD!

6. Make sure you know where to sit: Anchor who introduces the 1st STORY sits on the left as you look at set. In EXAMPLE SCRIPT Julia introduces 1st Story so she sits in the left as we look at set.

7. TOMORROW I will pick randomly 1/2 the class to perform and Wednesday the other 1/2.
